This older Circle Y Roping All-Around saddle is extremely well cared for, and is recently out of the saddle shop with brand new real-shearling fleece, leather repairs, and is ready to head down the trail.

This working saddle features a traditional rawhide-wrapped, double reinforced wooden tree designed specifically for a broad-backed horse that needs a wider fit from the shoulder to the loin. It has a lot of thick leather, and full sized skirt designed to give your horse something to brace against when roping full sized stock, and is consequently very heavy, roughly 40 lbs with the matching breast collar and flank strap.

S/N: 3667 1768 0597 0314

Roughly ~6.75" gullet, on unique bars that were designed for a slightly straighter-backed, well-collected horse with average shoulders. Although it is stamped “regular,” according to the manufacturer, I would still consider this an X-WIDE fit!
VERY roughly ~100° angle to the gullet, with additional front bar flare added by the saddle repair shop.
~ 140° angle to the mid-back
~150° angle to the loin area (+/- ~10° latitude), where it flares out flat like a table
(This saddle is ideal for a broad-backed, “table top” built horse)

Seat size: 17" grainout padded seat (fits closer to 16.5”), with Cheyenne roll cantle.

Weight: ~40 lbs.
Rigging: 7/8ths In-skirt, stainless steel D-rings

Total saddle length: 27”

Year built: May 1997
