A lightweight custom Dixieland gaited saddle that is ready to ride! This gorgeous custom Dixieland saddle features a Steele Equifit tree called the "D," which was designed specifically for the average - bodied horse, with mildly curvy back, and moderate front bar flare for an average shoulder. It has short 24.5" butterfly close contact tunnel skirt, with recessed spine channel, and pre-turned, adjustable fenders with endurance stirrups.

 

Seat size: 16.5" on the bare tree, fully Supracor padded, and fits closer to a 15.5" to 16", with a deep, grainout seat w/ high cantle, and Cheyenne roll.
Tree size: 6.75" Steele Equifit "D" FQHB tree. 


90-degree angle to the gullet

140-degree angle to the loin area

Minimal round "tunnel skirt" provides spine clearance, and gives lots of room for a horse with a short back, and/or big hips for making tight turns. 
Total saddle length: 24.5" w/ round butterfly skirt. 
Color: Medium brown with barbed wire border tooling.
Weight: ~26 lbs

Rigging: 7/8ths in-skirt D-ring, set up for 3-way rigging, if desired. You can also use regular flank cinch for a standard double-rigging.

Hardware: Stainless steel, with trail saddle strings, coachman's loops for trail accessories, breast collar D-rings, and a crupper D-ring.
