Premium quality smooth, dense, and durable 90% wool felt saddle pad liner, made right here in Oregon. Comes in 1/4" thickness, and the edges are left raw, unless there is a fleece lining. Saddle pad liners are an excellent solution to keeping your current saddle pad clean by absorbing all the dirt and sweat! They can also be used to increase the overall thickness to your pad setup, without having to purchase a thick bulky pad. Pad liners are a great solution to extend the life of your saddle pads!
This is the highest content of pure wool blend felt available here (~90%), and truly is the best quality. It breathes the best, and lasts the longest even in the toughest riding conditions, and can endure lots of washing. It has the strongest wool fibers that provide the perfect combination of excellent moisture and heat wicking ability, provides the best grip to reduce slippage. It actually has a little more "grip" than the pro wool blend, and is ever-so-slightly coarse, so not ideal for extra sensitive horses.
This light gray wool blend is the premium choice for professional grade pad liners that will outlast the rest.
You also have the option of adding a Merino wool fleece bottom. Adding fleece will create the softest touch on the skin, but does not provide a significant amount of additional thickness once under saddle. The edges will be sewn together of course.
